And, "that's mama luigi to you mario" was actually in the show, there may be a lot of youtube poops for that episode, but Luigi really says that. More people know this quote from the intro to Garfield and Friends than from Hotel Mario.
Besides, it's already the quote on Spaghetti by now. It still reflects Luigi's personality. I think this option should be because: 1. Mario could have easily said te same thing. I think that "I'm my bro's bro" from super paper mario is a better one, because it shows luigi's personality, in every game i've played luigi calls mario "bro".
Where are images of him playable in that game? There aren't very many images of the playable Luigi around. Well please upload the image if you at least find any.
Also I did was able to play as Luigi by collecting all Stars and switched from Mario to Luigi but then you have to start all the way to the beginning. Luigi's image in the TTYD section looks shopped. His mustache doesn't part from his nose and his eyes are too close together.
Dodo's right, it could possibly just be fan artwork The uploader Guy the Guy Talk! It is if you look closely the bold line looks thin. And his overalls are light blue! Aren't they suppose to be jean coloured File:LuigiPM2.
Where does he get that smash from anyway? Is there any artwork of Luigi from an early game, like Super Mario Bros. I want to see what he originally looked like in one of those platformers. Is there any on the wiki? If it's not in this article, probably not. I know there is artwork of him from SMB2, because there is of the other characters Is there any website that shows the artwork? It should be uploaded. Shouldn't we create a separate page for Mr L?
Peach Cried. Actually, I was thinking about that earlier. Maybe, but there might not be too much to say about Mr. L, in which case it's a good idea to keep him part of this article to avoid having a stub. Crystal Yoshi. I think the official images on this article should be in date order. I won't even bother saying to go to the forums. You need to play vs. I'm sure someone can explain the second part of that better. Knife talk , 8 June EDT. I don't see this anywhere in the history or current version.
Should be added, yeah? OK, I found some new evidence on the Bros. Mario addresses a postcard to a certain "Luigi Mario.
I can scan the article or whatever. I always thought Luigi Mario was his real name, and that's why they're called the Mario bros. I think that instead of King boo being under interactions with other characters, ghosts should be stated. Because since Luigi's Manison, Luigi has had a connection with not just King Boo, but with ghosts in general.
I would have went ahead and changed it, but I thought that some people might prefer that a specific individual be listed instead of a species. I just wanted to get some opinions on this. Where as Mario doesn't share bad chemistry with Koopas or Goombas. I think maybe an interaction with ghosts in general and a subheading with King Boo. The one with Wario and Rosalina are both a bit pointless mainly the Wario one since he's more of a rival with Waluigi, and he really and truly only doesn't really interact with Rosalina apart from when you can play as him and his ending photo.
The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lu-igi board talk. Isn't that a little too harsh? Sure he changed some things in his story but I think he only did this to make his brother proud of him.
And as for his novel: It can not undoubtedly be confirmed that Luigi made that exaggerated edits. It might have been the author as well in an attempt to make his story sound more read-worthy. Edofenrir , 20 August EDT. I'm confused. Hello, I'm Time Turner. Should we mention in his physicl description that in some games Luigi has paler skin than Mario? I was doing a little research, and I found out that the meaning of "Luigi" is "famous fighter", something that Luigi is definately not.
Should that go in trivia, starting with "ironically" or "coincedentially? The meaning of "Luigi" is "Glorious in battle" according to the Junior Woodchucks' manual I've seen pictures and videos of Luigi in Brawl as Mr. L,a few websites say stuff about this eye problems and not being able to get the bandana on him.
I think we should have more information about the name "weegee", and maybe even an image of what "weegee" looks like. I just mean basic information about him, such as the fact that it's from the DOS version and that his sprite is infamous for its staring, stuff like that. In the sections for various games, it just says things like, "mario and luigi travelled through 8 worlds, blah blah blah The article currently says that Luigi controls differently in Super Mario Bros.
I have never heard such a thing aside from Super Mario Advance 4, of course but am in no position to test, currently. Does anyone have any evidence that this is the case?
I have SMA4. Only reason I edited that Luigi controls differently is because another editor said so and I'm sorta more Sonic-ish than Mario-ish I'll try to get it for the Virtual Console and see if I spot any differences. Sorry if I began or continued How come there are 2 sections named " Super Mario World "? I think one of them has to be renamed. I tried this a couple weeks ago, but it was confusing. But I got the hang of it.
Anyway, I think we should merge these two pages because if Kootie Pie's human form should be put in Wendy O's page than so should Cassanova Koopa with Luigi. I put it in the wrong place.
Tails talk. I am Zero! AnimalCrossingCool Please specify that a little more or else the vote is invalid. Zero signing out. Zero talk. Robo Koopa. It's a featured article, and an alter-ego. If we have that article, why can't we have this one? And for an example with Luigi, Mr. Bowser'sLuma What difference does that make? They're both just changing their look.
Your vote in invalid. Luigi is listed under the Parents category. Did I miss or just forget about something? I think we should change the current quote with a different one. My personal suggestion is "I'm my bro's bro! If anyone either supports or opposes this, or has a different suggestion, please comment below. Perhaps [1] this one? And it doesn't matter that he is holding coins because we used Wario's MP8 artwork for awhile which had him holding coins. Plus, it would go with Mario's well.
There are two Luigis in Super Mario Galaxy , and they look different. I think the important question is which one, however. To the surprisingly numerous in quite a short span of time! Or that the two Luigis look different? No you are wrong according to the wiki Smash Bros. Marshal Dan Troop talk. The thing is, the game doesn't offer any reason why there are two Luigis there at all, so there's not really anything we can say to claim anything other than there's a Luigi in exactly the same place and situations the Luigi in Mario's SMG storyline is, which is what we already do.
It's almost impossible to claim anything else about the two Luigis without falling into speculation simply because of how lightly the game treats the subject, and that's really all there is to it. Bop Talk. I think most of the people didn't understand the proposal. In Super Mario Galaxy, we can see two different Luigi at the same time. They even talk to each other. They look a bit different.
Aokage talk , 1 January EST. Looking at the voters, what probably happened is that someone on the chat dropped a link here based on the title and the usual suspects voted en masse without actually bothering to read the description. Business as usual. Anyway, I'll just echo what Bop said, I don't feel a split is necessary as what you can essentialy say about the 2nd Luigi is "There's a 2nd Luigi in some missions in Super Mario Galaxy.
He has slightly different textures and the game treat him as a separate character". Nothing that isn't already stated with enough depth in the SMG section of this article, imo. An admin should remove most the oppose votes.
They clearly didn't understand this proposal. Aokage talk , 4 January EST. Hey I have a question. Is Luigi's Mansion considered a series? Pokebub talk , 8 April EDT. Should there be a separate page for Year of Luigi? The page could keep track of all the games released for Luigi and info about year of luigi. Pokebub talk , 17 April EDT. I personally think we should change it to the artwork for Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. First of all it's Luigi's most recent new artwork and second it's from a game where Luigi is the main star.
Tails Talk to me! In the last paragraph of "Creation and Development", it states that the Year of Luigi is celebrating his thirteenth anniversary. It should actually say thirtieth. With this typo, it seems as if Luigi was created in instead of That's a little funny, actually Luigi has the Parents category on his article Explain to me exactly when Luigi was shown to have children?
Luigi says that he doesn't want to do this, but ends up having to participate anyway. For the majority of Pirate Land, it looks like Luigi will be victorious, but then Princess Peach steals one of his stars in a move that he says "isn't fair", sabotages him in multiple minigames for which he calls her a 'Brutus', and then takes one of his stars with a chance time.
Luigi is not pleased with this turn of events. In Western Land, it again appears that Luigi will win, but then Wario steals his stars and the Bowser takes all of his coins, letting Donkey Kong pull ahead and scrape out a victory. This is the beginning of the strong hatred for Donkey Kong amongst the other three players. It is interesting to note that Luigi, a generally more mild-mannered character, is the first to express outright hatred for Donkey Kong and the first to begin bullying him.
In Space Land, Wario recreates everyone's favorite Awkward Zombie comic by using a plunder chest to steal Luigi's plunder chest. Luigi pretends to be indifferent to this, but on the inside, he is devastated and cries. In a tender moment with Wario, Luigi reveals that he used to be a lot more arrogant, but has learned the importance of humility, and thanks Wario for reminding him of that.
Near the end, Luigi thinks that he's finally going to win a map, but then Wario gets a star from a hidden block which turns the game in his favor.
Luigi begins Mystery Land desperate for a win, now the only player who has not won a map. He gets angry when Wario receives a star from a Hidden Block, but seems to regain his composure in time to purchase one himself, saying "I got this one legitimately, so at least I have honor. And respect. And dig-nity. This seems to be because Luigi was the first character to be super mean to Donkey Kong, so Donkey Kong is out for his blood now. Luigi argues that the other two were just as mean as he was, but his pleas fall on deaf ears.
A defining moment also occurs in this map, where Luigi gives himself the nickname 'Swift Boat Luigi'. This becomes a new integral part of his identity, and the other characters briefly refer to him by this name. Wario even goes so far as to call Swift-Boat Luigi a "legend". This legend of a green man then manages to get 4 more stars and fight his way to a victory.
He uses simple calculations to solve Bowser Sphnix's shadow riddle he actually gets it wrong, he guesses Pikachu when the answer is Bowser but that doesn't seem to matter , saves the Bob-ombs, and Toad declares him the Superstar of Mystery Land. In Horror Land, Luigi is immediately sarcastic about how scary the map is, which annoys Toad who worked really hard making it.
He then lands on a red space and turns into "Evil Luigi" and starts being mean to Wario. Wario bullies him back, and the next we see, the original "Good Luigi" has returned.
Throughout the rest of the map, "Evil Luigi" makes occasional appearances, saying that his secret motive is ensuring that Princess Peach never gets any money. Luigi has a very bad time in Bowser Land. He gets hit by the parade multiple times and sings a sad song about it. At one point his face even gets melted off "like a wax candle" but it returns soon after.
